Cunderdin Community Mural Project – Celebrating Our Local Heritage and Landscape
On 14 September 2024, the Cunderdin Youth Council, in collaboration with the Lions Club, the Shire of Cunderdin, and GPG, organised a community event to create a vibrant, interactive mural that now brings life to our main street of town. This project aimed to unite the community and celebrate the unique beauty of the Wheatbelt, creating a lasting piece of art that reflects Cunderdin’s natural heritage. Local residents of all ages took part in a guided paint-by-numbers activity led by a community artist, adding their own touches to this colourful addition to our town.
